Outta Here accepts referrals only from organizations that serve young people. If you run a program for young people ages 13 to 24 in a community we serve, we’d like to hear from you.
We made a deliberate choice not to take applications directly from families. Three reasons.
A passport application means birth certificates, guardianship questions, and an appointment with a federal agent. Those conversations go better when they begin with an adult the young person already trusts, not a stranger with a form.
Working through established organizations means each young person we serve has a named staff contact, existing consent practices, and someone accountable to them beyond us.
Passports take time. Partners keep young people engaged through the processing window, and they are still there afterward, when it is time to actually use the thing.
Send us the form below. We will set up a short call to understand who you serve, what your capacity looks like, and whether the fit is right in both directions.
A short written partnership agreement covering referral volume, guardian consent, how information is shared and protected, and exactly who does what.
You identify young people in your program who are ready, and send them to us through the process we set up together. No cold applications, no waitlist forms.
Eligibility, documents, guardian consent, the photo, the fees, and the acceptance facility appointment. Your staff contact stays in the loop the whole way.
In their name. We report back to you on every young person you send, so you can see the outcome of the referral you made.
Not on this list? Reach out anyway. The list describes who has found us so far, not who we are willing to work with.
We read every inquiry and respond within a week. There is no deadline and no cycle — we onboard partners as we have the capacity to serve their young people well.
Please don’t include any information about individual young people in this form. We will set up a secure way to handle referrals once we have talked.
Every young person we serve comes to us through a program, school, or organization they are already part of. If you are a young person or a parent, tell us what you are connected to and we will reach out to them about becoming a partner.
